We teach Tai Chi online, and in real-world venues across the UK and internationally. Our local branches are also online due to Covid-19. They will return to their venues as soon as possible.

With branches across the UK and internationally, Mei Quan is also London's largest Tai Chi Academy. We have taught traditional Yang style Tai Chi since 1992. Our experienced and inspirational instructors teach from fundamentals to advanced technique, including push hands and application. Our programmes also cover the culture, history and philosophy of Tai Chi.

Local Branch Classes

In addition to our online classes, we have always run local classes at venues across London, the UK and worldwide. Although they are all currently being taught online, we will be back in our venues as soon as we can.

We are currently taking enrolments, so you can start your course online right now, and join your class in their venue as soon as it reopens.

In the face of the COVID-19 outbreak, and current government advice, we have temporarily moved all our classes online. Classes will move back to the regular venues as soon as it is possible to do so.

Traditional Yang Style Tai Chi

At Mei Quan Academy of Tai Chi, we practise all elements of the traditional Yang Style syllabus, and interested students can choose to study any or all aspects of Tai Chi: development of one's health; meditation; internal martial art; practical philosophy; and aspects of Chinese Medicine and traditional culture.
